... is going to be VERY VERY special.

I believe we have plenty more to see from young Ledesma, meanwhile Balanta looks better and better and Connolly looks to be the real deal.  Cerny looks more assured, while Mahon, Leigertwood and Stewart all seem to have stepped up.  One must also assume we'll see more from Parejo as he settles in.

Throw in an on form Cook, Rowlands and returning Buzz and Vine, and we have a fantastic squad.

Just need the teamwork & tactics to hold up

Balanta has always showed touches of class now he is starting to string more of those into a whole game, i think as his confidence grows we will see a very good player emerge..

yea i have been really impressed with balanta and stewart, both player who i thought would be very much fringe players this season really seem to have stepped up

im really pretty happy with the squad, and it looks like dex may well proove me wrong and get a good haul of goals this year, im starting to think hes the right player to play at the top of the 4-5-1 we seem to be playing at the moment

 

and to top it off longest cup run we have had in years, wish id gone the carlisle game

Optimism abounds. We have some of the most exciting creative players I can remember seeing in years.
I think if the game is played on our terms, we will get loads of goals from players running from midfield off of Dex.
My only doubt remains how we will cope in a scrap and that is mostly a reaction to what went on at Bramall Lane. John Ward, the Carlisle manager spoke about us as a team full of six footers, which indicates they should be able to take care of themselves under those circmstances.
Also not sure how we are gonna fit Buzz into the current system, but thats a nice problem to have.

Darryl, we've only played one league game away so far so it might be a bit early to tell. I see what you mean by a scrap but as the Donny Rovers manager also said we had 6 players over 6ft 2 so I'm thinking there aren't many teams that are going to come out too well in a scrap either!

Sadly we won't win all our games but I think we're still on for the 100 point mark - smiley
