| ....and once we've won the game early, let's go for the jugular rather than sitting on 2-0. Other than that. Am quite happy today and confidence is creeping back. | | | |

| Fitting win in tribute to Ray. Last week we had our new italian talent arguing with anyone at the ground, this week they really showed their talent in helping dominate the midfield. Hopefully this is a sign of Dowie discipline and we can continue to see them grow as footballers. It was a dissapointment that we came of the pedal in the second half, an additional goal or two would have been good for morale. Bristol away next week will be a real challenge - Come on U R's! | | | |

| | The most important thing is the clean sheet, the midfield is already ok, K phillips would have been fantastic today.............if only. | | | |

Just had a couple round to dinner and the girl whos a Birmingham fan, poor thing, said that Phillips will be the difference between them going up and not. Apparently still looks pukkah even at a ripe old age. Ho hum........Dex will see us through!

| Optimism..........read the squad list and believe! as long as we can start grinding out 1-0's and 1-1's when we are not playing well we will do fine, that is a true sign of a team on the up. When Akos and Co return ID will be spoilt for choice and shape, when was the last time we had a squad this strong?..............we may not be scoring freely but we are creating more chances than we have had for years, a bit of bonding and target practice at Harlington and things will come good! Well done I.D. for sorting out the Toy thrower's at the Blades, no room for big girls blouses here!
No offence big Girls

| | Agreed. The more players we have challenging for places the better. Although a win against Bristol Shiity would be good. | | | |

| | The Qpr game is getting better by the minute, even the defence has buckled down, i can see a good win on saturday & its a shame i will be in Cornwall at the time. | | | |

| | Agree. The squad looks strong. Maybe one more established striker and one more experienced defender would add the final touches. | | | |

| Would have been a touch more confident if Cranie was in the defence, but still think we'll pick-up our 1st win on the road at Bristol. | | | |

| | i hope we do bring in cranie but hes not nessacary i think in a few more weeks the team should be playing more loke a team and we have ground out 2 home wins with not particularly impressive preformances imagine what we can do when were playing well | | | |

| After the last two performances, I don't think we'll be needing Cranie. Connolly and Stewart have both been immense.
Also - last night served as an answer to the request "let's go for the jugular rather than sitting on 2-0."

| Indeed. I am just purrring at the thought of Parejo starting to fire like Ledesma and Buzz coming back to full fitness. We will destroy sides.
I am stuck in San Jose, but my son went last night with a couple of my northern mates. He sat in the away end for the first time ever, and even though all the goals were scored at the other end, he said that once they had accepted defeat the Carlisle fans were just sitting appreciating the football we played. There were a few moneybags comments, but mostly just pure jealousy and a high appreciation of Ledesmas art!

| | So, away on Saturday, do we add a more defensive component to midfield, or play as if we are at home? Brizzle are not the cloggers Sheff U are, but it'll still be more of a battle. | | | |
