well a good draw for us, remember we played them a few years ago in the same competition lost 3-0 but didnt do too bad that night

Tricky one, so it'll be interesting to see how we do. Not that I remember too many cup successes against Villa.

Ah Baz, the League Cup semi-final replay. If only away goals had counted double in the 2nd leg! We won the toss and chose Highbury, then got thrashed. The one I particularly remember is the misery of being back at Villa Park In Jan 69, after the joy of being there in May 68!

I first went to Villa Park in 87/88, when all the houses around the ground were boarded up and the area was generally neglected. The toilet on - note ON - the terrace, was a sheet of corrugated steel and a length of half pipe. The p!ss steam was something to behold on that cold day.....
