Being a Bristol based R, this is always a fixture to look forward to!  The R's fans really lifted to the roof off today and showed great support.

The referee really had a mad day today, seeming to go to his pocket at random.  At one point, Dex was being climbed by a mountaineering Robin, yards from him - no card.  But then he would produce a card for almost nothing.  I really feel he killed the game, it had no flow whatsoever.

Ledesma incident for me seemed worthy of a card and he got away with hassling the ref several times after the first yellow.  Hopefully he will learn that he cannot get away with it and to concentrate on his football, which is starting to look sublime.

Following the send off, after it settled down again, I saw the best QPR side in my lifetime.  Passing was superb, real good movement and intelligence.  At one point, R's put together about 30 quality passes unchallenged.  It was only in the final few minutes they really struggled with being plain knacked from heat and work.

The game today made me really confident that we have the talent and drive to do well this year.

So, thanks to all the travelling R's for making today really special and memorable - my neighbour is nowhere near as happy as I am!
