i just read that the club is looking to sell Lee camp

I thought he did well last season and looked like developing into a good keeper

He has only been given one start in the league cup this season

Have I missed something somewhere? Did he have a howler that i didnt see or hear about?

It's about attitude at a guess, Camp does not make for a very patient number 2. The rumour earlier was that he would have had a start vs Carlisle, but told Dowie to shove it. An unhappy Camper in the dressing room can be destructive to team morale, so the club have likely decided to get rid.
I think they should try harder to keep him. He is an asset for the future if they can keep him happy. But may not be easy if he is throwing toys out of the pram.

Who can say? Perhaps he's not been turning in the performances in training? Perhaps he's fallen out with Dowie? Perhaps he's asked for a transfer?

well if we sold camp we may raise 500 000 but cerny isnt worth a penny so thats why he must be sacrifised

Camp was a very good shot stopper, but never commanded his area consistantly, made the defence nervouse, not very good distribution.

Other than that, he was ok.

camp always seemed to be lacking something in his game,he was incapable of commanding his defense,he was too introverted,to play in goal you have to inspire others and sad as it is he must accept that we are currently building the finest team in europe and he isnt prem quality so goodbye zero personalitied mina bird brained oath

To bring some sanity to proceedings. Camp almost single handedly kept us up 3 years ago and I will never forget him for that. But he may not be a premiership number one, so on one hand, we could say he can go, but on the other........er Radek Cerny?
