| El Tel's got to be a strong contender, although I'm sure he wouldn't accept the puppetry. Otherwise, it'll be another Italian. The question is, will there be a budget for making a challenge in January.... As was BLINDINGLY OBVIOUS, there is a need to bring in a calibre striker and (for my money), a centre back and (in an ideal world), another winger. Al they need to do is drop the ticket prices, get the fans through the gates and we're back on track... (I'll forgive them the catering if the above happens). | | | |

| | The Jackett rumour has been doing the rounds for a couple of weeks. The red-tops were putting his name about after the Derby match. Can't see it myself. El Tel is a long shot at best. I would think it'd be Mancini | | | |

Evers, you forgot to mention Wise...
he's off my radar now mate - it was as player/manager where we'd have truimphed... frankly no English manager who's upcoming is gonna take the job, as he will have no influence on signings, the only one who will do it is El Tel for a few shekels, then they will bring in an Italian. The only way they will get an Englishman to do it is if they hand over the reigns entirely.

| We are offering one QPR supporter the opportunity of a lifetime - the chance to interview R's gaffer Iain Dowie moments after the final whistle against Cardiff City at Loftus Road on Saturday 8th November.
One lucky fan will be able to ask Dowie what they feel fellow supporters will want to know following the match against the Bluebirds.

| Can't see any of that lot, except maybe Billy Davies. The rest are either already busted flushes, or I don't want to see them become busted flushes at QPR....
I sort of echo EVERS thoughts re Kerry Dixon,. although I'll not go quite far as him...
Strange timing to sack Dowie though, but who knows what's in contracts or otherwise gone on this week. If the board want to see attacking football played, I doubt that this weeks ugly game at Swansea helped.
