As none of the home nations feature in this Summer's Euro 2008 tournament, QPR.ORG has created a small reason to make it slightly less tedious.  On the homepage of this site, you'll see a small item on the left side which indicates a randomly picked team nominated for you to follow.  Whilst, clearly, you do not need to be bound by this suggested team, if, like many of us, you had no preference, hopefully this will give you someone to throw your support towards during the course of the tournament.

For what it's worth, I've been randomly assigned Italy, which I think stands me in good stead...

I just made a few tweaks to hopefully make the site a bit more friendly for Safari and Opera browsers - including IPhones.  Let me know if you experience any problems.

I've made some changes to the site design, hopefully making it more attractive.  There are still a few odd looking bits (pencils in the welcome box, strange shoutbox layout, wrong link colours in the inbox).  I need to fix these problems, but otherwise I'm generally happy with it.

I've made a number of upgrades to the site in the last few hours.

There's a new version of the chatroom in place, that has avatars and allows you to see a log of old messages.

I've also installed new versions of serveral other modules and of the website software itself, which should reduce some of the occasional errors that have been experienced.

Welcome to the new server - unfortunately, due the the nature of the internet, some people will be getting here before others, and so there will be, for a little while, messages seemingly disappearing.

Please also note the 'new' server will carry a 'not for production' warning under the forum, until everyone's using it, and then I can transfer the licence across.  Similarly, you might have found yourself redirected to 'www.qpr.nu' - again, this is temporary, to ensure the redirection happens sooner rather than later.

Apologies for the inconvenience and hassle.  On the bright side, I think everything should now be a great deal quicker.
